CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD WEEK 2

Review from last week.  Questions/Comments

What are some methods God uses to communicate with you?

How do you know it is God?

“God’s voice is always the Highest Thought, the Clearest Word, and the Grandest Feeling.  Anything less stems from human fear or ego.”

What if you could stop worrying about approval or acceptance and start to focus on your highest thought about yourself.  Imagine how your life would be if you lived that thought every day.  Imagine what you would think, do and say and how you would respond to what shows up in the world around you.

CONCEPT # 8   God is Life and the stuff life is.  (There is no one that is not God.)

A place to begin:  I am one with my I Am Presence and I am one with the I Am Presence of all Sentient Beings.

(There is no thing that is not God.)  It’s all God – the flowers and the fertilizer.

CONCEPT #9  God needs nothing, and therefore requires nothing from us.

What if I could need nothing?  What would that be like?  How would it change my passions, my purpose here on the earth?

What about our values?  What is the purpose of those?

What about Evil and Sin?  If there was no such thing as Right or Wrong  – then what would those things be?

CONCEPT #10   GOD TALKS TO EVERYONE!   “Good heavens, how can you ever expect to hear my voice if you don’t imagine yourself deserving enough to even be spoken to.”     A Case of Mistaken Identity

CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD SAYS:  God is a Triune Being – Three in One.  Father Son and Holy Spirit.   Thought Idea and Expression.

CONCEPT #11  Human beings consist of 3 distinct energies:

Thoughts  Word and Deeds.    And then there is always the sponsoring thought.    (look at pages 61 – 64 – choose a topic)

Is my thought coming from Fear or Love?

What words am I sharing with others about my thought?

What actions am I putting behind my thought and my words?

CONCEPT #12  All you see in your world is the outcome of your idea about it.

Neal states that this could be the most important truth found in his books.   Am I seeing the truth or am I seeing an illusion created by my thoughts about….?

CONCEPT #13  All conditions are temporary.  Nothing stays the same.  Which was a thing changes depends on you.

Think of changes in your life.  Did you experience yourself as being at the effect of change or as being a conscious creator of your life?

The quality of  your life will depend upon the degree to which you “control” or “create” the changes that affect you.

CONCEPT #14  The purpose of my soul is evolution.  The progressive development of subjective experiences.

“The soul is very clear that its purpose is evolution….it is not concerned with the achievements of the body or the development of the mind.  These are all  meaningless to the soul.”    “The soul cannot choose to be anything if there is nothing to choose from.  (left or right – warm or cold – good or evil)

CONCEPT #15  You are who you think you are.  You are your own thoughts about yourself, made manifest.

“There maybe somewhat of a gap between “who you think you are” and “WHO YOU REALLY ARE!”    The Prodigal Son Story.

AUTOBIOGRAPHY IN FIVE CHAPTERS:

I walk down the street – there is a deep hole in the sidewalk

I fall in – I am lost – I am hopeless.  It isn’t my fault.

It takes me forever to find a way out.

I walk down the same street – there is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I pretend I don’t see it – I fall in again.

I can’t believe I’m in the same place – But it isn’t my fault.

It still takes a long time to get out.

I walk down the same street – there is a deep hole in the sidewalk

I see it is there – I still fall in – It’s a habit

My eyes are open  I know where I am   It is my fault  I get out immediately

I walk down the same street  -  There is a deep hole in the sidewalk

I walk around it.

I walk down another street.
