Tuesday | Oct. 29th | 6:30 - 8:30PM | Sanctuary | Love Offering

Rev. John McLean wraps up this class based on Eric Butterworth’s classic book, “Unity: A Quest for Truth”. In the book, Eric introduces a present-day faith that corresponds with present-day needs. He challenges traditional religion to recognize and teach that "God is not only the God of history...God is also the God of today." If you are on a spiritual quest for a greater understanding of God and desire a happy, joyous life through practicing practical Christian principles, then this book is for you.

Men's Drum Circle

NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. We will be led in this experience by David Spak, a Grammy-winning drummer. He will provide drums, and other noise-makers, for everyone’s use. The power of making primitive noise in sync with others is an experience words cannot fully describe. You have to feel it to understand it. Please pass the word to any men you know, ALL are welcome.

WHERE: At Unity, go to the firepit at the back of the campus parking area. Unity Church of Nashville is at 5125 Franklin Pike, Nashville.

FOOD: I will have some snacks and pop/water. If you want something more substantial, then bring it. There will be a fire you can cook over, bring what you will need.

WHAT TO BRING: Lawnchair, flashlight, drum or other noise-maker if you have it, bug spray, blanket (if you tend to chill), anything else to suit your comfort, some cash for a love offering.

Through a remarkable discovery linking Biblical alphabets to our genetic code, the "language of life" may now be read as the ancient letters of a timeless message. Regardless of race, religion, heritage, or lifestyle, the message is the same in each cell every woman, child, and man, past and present. Sharing all-new fascinating research, Gregg Braden discusses the life-changing discovery that led him from a successful career in the aerospace and defense industries to an extensive 12-year study of the most sacred and honored traditions of humankind.
